20
00:00:42.920 –> 00:00:45.439
Speaker:
I’d like to share a story with
you about something that had

21
00:00:45.439 –> 00:00:47.479
Speaker:
happened with me and my wife.

22
00:00:47.479 –> 00:00:48.359
Speaker:
Tonight.

23
00:00:48.359 –> 00:00:51.799
Speaker:
Saturday, August twenty first,
twenty twenty one.

24
00:00:51.799 –> 00:00:54.200
Speaker:
A few hours ago, actually.

25
00:00:54.200 –> 00:00:56.820
Speaker:
Now, Sherry and I went to Bossie

26
00:00:56.820 –> 00:00:58.859
Speaker:
Field in Evansville around seven

27
00:00:58.859 –> 00:01:01.079
Speaker:
o’clock tonight to catch the

28
00:01:01.079 –> 00:01:02.179
Speaker:
otters game.

29
00:01:02.179 –> 00:01:06.459
Speaker:
Our daughter, Lexi, is an Otter
Belle and she performs there and

30
00:01:06.459 –> 00:01:10.060
Speaker:
they do a dance after the fourth
inning of all the home games.

31
00:01:10.060 –> 00:01:12.140
Speaker:
So we were going to support her
there.

32
00:01:12.140 –> 00:01:16.180
Speaker:
And full disclosure, Sherri and
I, well, we’re not exactly big

33
00:01:16.180 –> 00:01:20.500
Speaker:
baseball fans, so we do go to
support her at the games.

34
00:01:20.500 –> 00:01:24.939
Speaker:
But watching watching baseball
is basically is kind of rough

35
00:01:24.939 –> 00:01:25.579
Speaker:
for both of us.

36
00:01:25.579 –> 00:01:27.420
Speaker:
I’m a I’m a football fan.

37
00:01:27.420 –> 00:01:29.260
Speaker:
I enjoy watching basketball too.

38
00:01:29.260 –> 00:01:33.579
Speaker:
But man, baseball just I just
it’s not my thing.

39
00:01:33.579 –> 00:01:34.700
Speaker:
There was a rain delays.

40
00:01:34.700 –> 00:01:36.140
Speaker:
The game was starting at seven
fifteen.

41
00:01:36.140 –> 00:01:37.859
Speaker:
We were about fifteen minutes
early.

42
00:01:37.859 –> 00:01:41.019
Speaker:
So we thought, hey, let’s, let’s
get some exercise and take a

43
00:01:41.019 –> 00:01:42.819
Speaker:
walk around the Garvin Lake.

44
00:01:42.819 –> 00:01:44.060
Speaker:
And that’s what we did.

45
00:01:47.019 –> 00:01:48.099
Speaker:
It was a beautiful night,

46
00:01:48.099 –> 00:01:50.180
Speaker:
probably seventy five degrees or

47
00:01:50.180 –> 00:01:50.900
Speaker:
so.

48
00:01:50.900 –> 00:01:52.099
Speaker:
We thought we’d take a walk

49
00:01:52.099 –> 00:01:53.219
Speaker:
around the lake and kill some

50
00:01:53.219 –> 00:01:54.180
Speaker:
time.

51
00:01:54.180 –> 00:01:58.060
Speaker:
So we’re walking around the lake
and not many people around.

52
00:01:58.060 –> 00:01:59.620
Speaker:
I think we saw one couple

53
00:01:59.620 –> 00:02:01.834
Speaker:
fishing on the, uh, the

54
00:02:01.834 –> 00:02:03.930
Speaker:
northeast side of the lake over

55
00:02:03.930 –> 00:02:06.129
Speaker:
there, close to the concrete

56
00:02:06.129 –> 00:02:07.090
Speaker:
bridge.

57
00:02:07.090 –> 00:02:09.210
Speaker:
I don’t think we saw anybody
else as we were.

58
00:02:09.210 –> 00:02:10.610
Speaker:
As we were there.

59
00:02:10.610 –> 00:02:12.090
Speaker:
We were walking along the

60
00:02:12.090 –> 00:02:15.250
Speaker:
sidewalk along the north side of

61
00:02:15.250 –> 00:02:18.550
Speaker:
the lake, walking on the north

62
00:02:18.550 –> 00:02:20.849
Speaker:
side of the path, walking away

63
00:02:20.849 –> 00:02:22.610
Speaker:
from bossy field like towards

64
00:02:22.610 –> 00:02:24.009
Speaker:
the greenway.

65
00:02:24.009 –> 00:02:25.050
Speaker:
Didn’t see anything unusual

66
00:02:25.050 –> 00:02:26.889
Speaker:
until we got to the northwest

67
00:02:26.889 –> 00:02:27.610
Speaker:
corner.

68
00:02:27.610 –> 00:02:32.469
Speaker:
So the basically the the corner
over there by the greenway and

69
00:02:32.469 –> 00:02:36.409
Speaker:
that section of the lake, I
turned my head and as we’re

70
00:02:36.409 –> 00:02:41.490
Speaker:
walking I. I see about two
hundred feet off into the lake,

71
00:02:41.490 –> 00:02:49.409
Speaker:
what appears to be two green
ducks floating parallel to the

72
00:02:49.409 –> 00:02:52.129
Speaker:
sidewalk away across the lake.

73
00:02:52.129 –> 00:02:53.370
Speaker:
Now there are some strange

74
00:02:53.370 –> 00:02:55.030
Speaker:
reflections and the lighting was

75
00:02:55.030 –> 00:02:57.349
Speaker:
kind of odd, so I was kind of

76
00:02:57.349 –> 00:02:59.090
Speaker:
guessing what I was actually

77
00:02:59.090 –> 00:02:59.409
Speaker:
seeing.

78
00:02:59.409 –> 00:03:02.330
Speaker:
I was just kind of keeping an
eye on it.

79
00:03:02.330 –> 00:03:04.270
Speaker:
And I Finally, as we’re walking,

80
00:03:04.270 –> 00:03:06.110
Speaker:
I turned to Sherry and I said,

81
00:03:06.110 –> 00:03:06.590
Speaker:
do you.

82
00:03:06.590 –> 00:03:07.750
Speaker:
Do you see that out there?

83
00:03:07.750 –> 00:03:11.710
Speaker:
Do you see out in the lake that
there’s something strange.

84
00:03:11.710 –> 00:03:14.069
Speaker:
And she looks out there and
says, yeah, that’s.

85
00:03:14.069 –> 00:03:14.909
Speaker:
What is that?

86
00:03:14.909 –> 00:03:16.710
Speaker:
There’s something strange out
there.

87
00:03:16.710 –> 00:03:21.030
Speaker:
So that’s when we both started
like hyper focusing on whatever

88
00:03:21.030 –> 00:03:23.030
Speaker:
this this thing was.

89
00:03:23.030 –> 00:03:24.389
Speaker:
It was moving.

90
00:03:24.389 –> 00:03:28.710
Speaker:
You could see that the water
around whatever this was, was

91
00:03:28.710 –> 00:03:30.590
Speaker:
there were ripples around it.

92
00:03:30.590 –> 00:03:34.310
Speaker:
So you could see that it was in
motion and moving.

93
00:03:34.310 –> 00:03:37.310
Speaker:
And it appeared the more we
looked at it, the more it was it

94
00:03:37.310 –> 00:03:41.430
Speaker:
looked like leaves and like
maybe a giant branch, but it was

95
00:03:41.430 –> 00:03:45.150
Speaker:
moving as though it was two
ducks in a row.

96
00:03:45.150 –> 00:03:47.270
Speaker:
It kind of had somewhat the

97
00:03:47.270 –> 00:03:49.669
Speaker:
shape of two ducks, but you

98
00:03:49.669 –> 00:03:51.469
Speaker:
could see kind of leafy, you

99
00:03:51.469 –> 00:03:54.469
Speaker:
know, maybe a bush like thing, I

100
00:03:54.469 –> 00:03:54.909
Speaker:
don’t know.

101
00:03:54.909 –> 00:03:58.949
Speaker:
It was it was very strange, but
it didn’t look like a branch.

102
00:03:58.949 –> 00:04:00.830
Speaker:
I didn’t see any wood anywhere.

103
00:04:00.830 –> 00:04:05.210
Speaker:
So it was it was very hard to
decipher what we were looking at

104
00:04:05.210 –> 00:04:06.289
Speaker:
and it was across.

105
00:04:06.289 –> 00:04:07.689
Speaker:
It was there was a bit of

106
00:04:07.689 –> 00:04:09.889
Speaker:
distance between us and whatever

107
00:04:09.889 –> 00:04:11.210
Speaker:
this was.

108
00:04:11.210 –> 00:04:12.729
Speaker:
And this all happened so
quickly.

109
00:04:12.729 –> 00:04:16.310
Speaker:
So as we’re walking, I turned to
Sherry and I said, you know,

110
00:04:16.310 –> 00:04:17.810
Speaker:
maybe this thing is not moving.

111
00:04:17.810 –> 00:04:19.329
Speaker:
Maybe it’s maybe it’s just like

112
00:04:19.329 –> 00:04:21.209
Speaker:
a tree branch stuck in the

113
00:04:21.209 –> 00:04:22.850
Speaker:
water.

114
00:04:22.850 –> 00:04:24.649
Speaker:
And we just think it’s moving

115
00:04:24.649 –> 00:04:26.410
Speaker:
because we’re, we’re moving in

116
00:04:26.410 –> 00:04:27.709
Speaker:
and it’s causing some sort of

117
00:04:27.709 –> 00:04:28.290
Speaker:
illusion.

118
00:04:28.290 –> 00:04:33.649
Speaker:
So we stop and look across the
lake and we can see clearly that

119
00:04:33.649 –> 00:04:35.009
Speaker:
it’s still moving.

120
00:04:35.009 –> 00:04:37.370
Speaker:
We could see the water ripples

121
00:04:37.370 –> 00:04:38.750
Speaker:
around it and that it’s

122
00:04:38.750 –> 00:04:40.970
Speaker:
actually, you know, kind of like

123
00:04:40.970 –> 00:04:41.410
Speaker:
a duck.

124
00:04:41.410 –> 00:04:43.370
Speaker:
It’s a duck were swimming across
the lake.

125
00:04:43.370 –> 00:04:45.350
Speaker:
You’d see the water around the

126
00:04:45.350 –> 00:04:47.269
Speaker:
duck kind of being, you know,

127
00:04:47.269 –> 00:04:49.209
Speaker:
rippled and displaced and

128
00:04:49.209 –> 00:04:50.170
Speaker:
everything.

129
00:04:50.170 –> 00:04:51.730
Speaker:
So it was, it was definitely
moving.

130
00:04:51.730 –> 00:04:53.009
Speaker:
There was motion there.

131
00:04:53.009 –> 00:04:54.490
Speaker:
It wasn’t like just some branch

132
00:04:54.490 –> 00:04:55.689
Speaker:
in the middle of the lake that

133
00:04:55.689 –> 00:04:56.970
Speaker:
wasn’t moving.

134
00:04:56.970 –> 00:04:59.810
Speaker:
I started to turn and I was

135
00:04:59.810 –> 00:05:01.089
Speaker:
going to walk, continue walking

136
00:05:01.089 –> 00:05:02.170
Speaker:
around the lake and get a better

137
00:05:02.170 –> 00:05:02.370
Speaker:
view.

138
00:05:02.370 –> 00:05:04.910
Speaker:
And maybe I was at that point I
was thinking, okay, I’m going to

139
00:05:04.910 –> 00:05:06.269
Speaker:
get some pictures of this thing.

140
00:05:06.269 –> 00:05:07.870
Speaker:
It’s this is something unusual.

141
00:05:07.870 –> 00:05:12.389
Speaker:
So I was hoping to get a better
angle where I could get a better

142
00:05:12.389 –> 00:05:16.149
Speaker:
shot of what this thing was, or
get a shot of what it was.

143
00:05:16.149 –> 00:05:19.149
Speaker:
And the moment I turned my head,
Sherri said, oh, it just dove

144
00:05:19.149 –> 00:05:20.709
Speaker:
under the water.

145
00:05:20.709 –> 00:05:22.389
Speaker:
I quickly turned my head and I

146
00:05:22.389 –> 00:05:23.910
Speaker:
could see that the water had

147
00:05:23.910 –> 00:05:24.629
Speaker:
been displaced.

148
00:05:24.629 –> 00:05:25.470
Speaker:
Kind of like if you threw a

149
00:05:25.470 –> 00:05:26.750
Speaker:
giant rock out in the middle of

150
00:05:26.750 –> 00:05:28.430
Speaker:
the lake, you’d see the ripples

151
00:05:28.430 –> 00:05:28.990
Speaker:
going out.

152
00:05:28.990 –> 00:05:29.949
Speaker:
And that’s what I saw.

153
00:05:29.949 –> 00:05:31.750
Speaker:
That’s what both of us saw.

154
00:05:31.750 –> 00:05:36.490
Speaker:
And Sherri said, oh yeah, and
very intentionally dove or it

155
00:05:36.490 –> 00:05:37.870
Speaker:
disappeared under the water.

156
00:05:37.870 –> 00:05:42.629
Speaker:
It wasn’t like a, a slow sinking
or gradual anything.

157
00:05:42.629 –> 00:05:45.709
Speaker:
It was like it just, it
disappeared quickly.

158
00:05:45.709 –> 00:05:48.050
Speaker:
We thought, well, if it dove,

159
00:05:48.050 –> 00:05:50.350
Speaker:
then it needs to come back up

160
00:05:50.350 –> 00:05:50.910
Speaker:
for air.

161
00:05:50.910 –> 00:05:53.750
Speaker:
If it was on top of the water,
then it needs air.

162
00:05:53.750 –> 00:05:57.970
Speaker:
So we thought we’d stick around
for about ten minutes or so and

163
00:05:57.970 –> 00:06:02.029
Speaker:
just kind of wait for it to
resurface and see what, see what

164
00:06:02.029 –> 00:06:03.509
Speaker:
the heck it was.

165
00:06:03.509 –> 00:06:07.980
Speaker:
We waited and waited and never
came back up for air.

166
00:06:07.980 –> 00:06:09.540
Speaker:
We thought, well, let’s let’s

167
00:06:09.540 –> 00:06:10.579
Speaker:
continue walking around the

168
00:06:10.579 –> 00:06:10.819
Speaker:
lake.

169
00:06:10.819 –> 00:06:13.139
Speaker:
So we go around the north side

170
00:06:13.139 –> 00:06:15.180
Speaker:
of the lake and then head back

171
00:06:15.180 –> 00:06:16.399
Speaker:
on the south side, heading

172
00:06:16.399 –> 00:06:18.000
Speaker:
towards back towards Bossy

173
00:06:18.000 –> 00:06:18.379
Speaker:
Field.

174
00:06:18.379 –> 00:06:20.879
Speaker:
The entire time we’re, you know,

175
00:06:20.879 –> 00:06:23.019
Speaker:
focusing on the lake at that

176
00:06:23.019 –> 00:06:25.139
Speaker:
area where we saw it to see if

177
00:06:25.139 –> 00:06:26.839
Speaker:
we see any sort of, you know,

178
00:06:26.839 –> 00:06:29.079
Speaker:
disruption or activity or hear

179
00:06:29.079 –> 00:06:30.660
Speaker:
noises or anything and, and

180
00:06:30.660 –> 00:06:31.139
Speaker:
nothing.

181
00:06:31.139 –> 00:06:32.459
Speaker:
It was, it never came back.

182
00:06:32.459 –> 00:06:34.980
Speaker:
So whatever it was, was under

183
00:06:34.980 –> 00:06:37.660
Speaker:
the water and disappeared and

184
00:06:37.660 –> 00:06:39.620
Speaker:
nothing.

185
00:06:39.620 –> 00:06:43.279
Speaker:
When I got to the other side, I
did take some pictures and I

186
00:06:43.279 –> 00:06:47.540
Speaker:
will post those on the website
and on the discord server.

187
00:06:47.540 –> 00:06:49.819
Speaker:
Um, just so you can have an idea

188
00:06:49.819 –> 00:06:52.939
Speaker:
of what exactly the lighting

189
00:06:52.939 –> 00:06:54.319
Speaker:
was, what time of, you know,

190
00:06:54.319 –> 00:06:55.699
Speaker:
what, what the conditions were

191
00:06:55.699 –> 00:06:57.939
Speaker:
at the time and the lake now

192
00:06:57.939 –> 00:07:00.019
Speaker:
the, you know, there’s nothing

193
00:07:00.019 –> 00:07:02.000
Speaker:
in the pictures that as far as

194
00:07:02.000 –> 00:07:03.740
Speaker:
like seeing whatever this was,

195
00:07:03.740 –> 00:07:05.439
Speaker:
I, it was long gone at that

196
00:07:05.439 –> 00:07:06.319
Speaker:
time.

197
00:07:06.319 –> 00:07:10.139
Speaker:
I probably took the pictures
maybe fifteen minutes after we

198
00:07:10.139 –> 00:07:12.240
Speaker:
actually had the sighting, so.

199
00:07:12.240 –> 00:07:13.879
Speaker:
But the lighting is pretty much

200
00:07:13.879 –> 00:07:15.720
Speaker:
the same as it was for the most

201
00:07:15.720 –> 00:07:16.639
Speaker:
part.

202
00:07:16.639 –> 00:07:18.160
Speaker:
So I’d like to throw this out

203
00:07:18.160 –> 00:07:19.680
Speaker:
there to you if you’ve ever had

204
00:07:19.680 –> 00:07:21.600
Speaker:
any sort of strange experience

205
00:07:21.600 –> 00:07:24.240
Speaker:
at Garvin Lake, or if you have

206
00:07:24.240 –> 00:07:26.079
Speaker:
any ideas as to what we may have

207
00:07:26.079 –> 00:07:27.160
Speaker:
seen.

208
00:07:27.160 –> 00:07:29.139
Speaker:
I invite you to come to River

209
00:07:29.139 –> 00:07:32.120
Speaker:
City Mystery dot com and join my

210
00:07:32.120 –> 00:07:33.600
Speaker:
discord server.

211
00:07:33.600 –> 00:07:34.879
Speaker:
I have a channel set up

212
00:07:34.879 –> 00:07:36.519
Speaker:
specifically for the Garvin Lake

213
00:07:36.519 –> 00:07:37.240
Speaker:
sighting.

214
00:07:37.240 –> 00:07:41.379
Speaker:
Please share whatever your story
is or if you have suggestions on

215
00:07:41.379 –> 00:07:43.079
Speaker:
what we may have seen.

216
00:07:43.079 –> 00:07:46.879
Speaker:
I’m certainly not suggesting
that what we saw was a cryptid

217
00:07:46.879 –> 00:07:51.680
Speaker:
or some sort of unknown
creature, but we definitely saw

218
00:07:51.680 –> 00:07:57.600
Speaker:
something unusual and would be
open to hearing your ideas on

219
00:07:57.600 –> 00:07:58.959
Speaker:
what this might have been.

220
00:07:58.959 –> 00:08:03.319
Speaker:
One idea that I have is that
maybe it was a, um, a larger

221
00:08:03.319 –> 00:08:07.740
Speaker:
fish, maybe it’s a catfish or
something that had fishing line

222
00:08:07.740 –> 00:08:11.180
Speaker:
attached to it, and maybe the
fishing line had wrapped around

223
00:08:11.180 –> 00:08:12.339
Speaker:
a tree branch.

224
00:08:12.339 –> 00:08:16.459
Speaker:
And as the fish is floating
around the the lake, this

225
00:08:16.459 –> 00:08:20.519
Speaker:
branch, uh, once the fish starts
getting close to the surface,

226
00:08:20.519 –> 00:08:25.060
Speaker:
the branch comes above the water
and appears to be floating on

227
00:08:25.060 –> 00:08:26.300
Speaker:
the top of the water.

228
00:08:26.300 –> 00:08:28.339
Speaker:
That’s, uh, I’ve never seen

229
00:08:28.339 –> 00:08:30.500
Speaker:
anything like that, uh, in all

230
00:08:30.500 –> 00:08:31.540
Speaker:
the times I’ve been around

231
00:08:31.540 –> 00:08:31.939
Speaker:
lakes.

232
00:08:31.939 –> 00:08:36.700
Speaker:
But, hey, anything is possible
that seems more plausible than

233
00:08:36.700 –> 00:08:40.620
Speaker:
some sort of branch creature
that’s living in Garvin Lake.

234
00:08:40.620 –> 00:08:43.860
Speaker:
But, um, I don’t know.

235
00:08:43.860 –> 00:08:45.220
Speaker:
We know.

236
00:08:45.220 –> 00:08:49.379
Speaker:
All we know is that we both saw
something tonight, and we don’t

237
00:08:49.379 –> 00:08:52.919
Speaker:
know what it was, so I said, I
told Sherri, hey, I’m just going

238
00:08:52.919 –> 00:08:56.299
Speaker:
to throw this out there on the,
uh, on the show.

239
00:08:56.299 –> 00:08:57.580
Speaker:
And hopefully we get some

240
00:08:57.580 –> 00:08:59.860
Speaker:
feedback on the discord server

241
00:08:59.860 –> 00:09:01.340
Speaker:
and maybe we’ll learn something

242
00:09:01.340 –> 00:09:02.139
Speaker:
new.

243
00:09:02.139 –> 00:09:04.139
Speaker:
Or maybe, maybe there have been

244
00:09:04.139 –> 00:09:05.500
Speaker:
many sightings of this, or maybe

245
00:09:05.500 –> 00:09:06.679
Speaker:
people just haven’t mentioned

246
00:09:06.679 –> 00:09:07.360
Speaker:
anything.

247
00:09:07.360 –> 00:09:08.240
Speaker:
I’ve did a little.

248
00:09:08.240 –> 00:09:10.059
Speaker:
I did a little bit of research

249
00:09:10.059 –> 00:09:12.799
Speaker:
and have not seen any reports of

250
00:09:12.799 –> 00:09:15.019
Speaker:
any unusual sightings at, uh,

251
00:09:15.019 –> 00:09:16.080
Speaker:
Garvin Lake.

252
00:09:16.080 –> 00:09:17.080
Speaker:
There have been all kinds of

253
00:09:17.080 –> 00:09:18.360
Speaker:
stories about stuff that’s

254
00:09:18.360 –> 00:09:19.399
Speaker:
happened at Garvin Lake, but

255
00:09:19.399 –> 00:09:21.519
Speaker:
none of it cryptid related or

256
00:09:21.519 –> 00:09:22.960
Speaker:
any sort of unusual creatures

257
00:09:22.960 –> 00:09:24.120
Speaker:
like this.

258
00:09:24.120 –> 00:09:28.460
Speaker:
And I did some research through
my materials for cryptids and

259
00:09:28.460 –> 00:09:30.399
Speaker:
unknown lake creatures.

260
00:09:30.399 –> 00:09:32.659
Speaker:
Nothing really comes close to

261
00:09:32.659 –> 00:09:34.200
Speaker:
meeting the description of what

262
00:09:34.200 –> 00:09:34.879
Speaker:
we saw.

263
00:09:34.879 –> 00:09:37.679
Speaker:
So we look forward to your
feedback on this.

264
00:09:37.679 –> 00:09:39.519
Speaker:
If you have any ideas.

265
00:09:41.559 –> 00:09:42.919
Speaker:
Thank you for joining me in the

266
00:09:42.919 –> 00:09:44.480
Speaker:
second episode of River City

267
00:09:44.480 –> 00:09:46.200
Speaker:
Mystery Podcast, I appreciate

268
00:09:46.200 –> 00:09:47.120
Speaker:
it.

269
00:09:47.120 –> 00:09:48.679
Speaker:
I invite you to join me at River

270
00:09:48.679 –> 00:09:50.960
Speaker:
City Mystery dot com, where I’ve

271
00:09:50.960 –> 00:09:52.960
Speaker:
got links to my discord server,

272
00:09:52.960 –> 00:09:54.320
Speaker:
where you can join others in the

273
00:09:54.320 –> 00:09:56.000
Speaker:
community, and discussing each

274
00:09:56.000 –> 00:09:58.000
Speaker:
episode in greater detail in its

275
00:09:58.000 –> 00:09:59.039
Speaker:
own channel.

276
00:09:59.039 –> 00:10:02.039
Speaker:
I also have a channel set up for
topic suggestions.

277
00:10:02.039 –> 00:10:05.879
Speaker:
If you have a particular mystery
or strange thing that’s been

278
00:10:05.879 –> 00:10:08.549
Speaker:
happening in your community in
the Tri-State, and you’d like me

279
00:10:08.549 –> 00:10:09.870
Speaker:
to look into it.

280
00:10:09.870 –> 00:10:12.429
Speaker:
Throw those suggestions in that
channel.

281
00:10:12.429 –> 00:10:13.470
Speaker:
Something down the road.

282
00:10:13.470 –> 00:10:15.730
Speaker:
I may have set up some sort of

283
00:10:15.730 –> 00:10:17.309
Speaker:
events where we can do voice

284
00:10:17.309 –> 00:10:19.929
Speaker:
chats, or maybe even have a show

285
00:10:19.929 –> 00:10:22.629
Speaker:
up, run it through discord one

286
00:10:22.629 –> 00:10:23.070
Speaker:
time.

287
00:10:23.070 –> 00:10:24.509
Speaker:
I’m still trying to figure out
discord.

288
00:10:24.509 –> 00:10:27.789
Speaker:
I’m fairly new to it, so I’m
liking what I see so far.

289
00:10:27.789 –> 00:10:32.370
Speaker:
I think there’s a lot of
possibilities for using this to

290
00:10:32.370 –> 00:10:34.830
Speaker:
complement the podcast.

291
00:10:34.830 –> 00:10:35.990
Speaker:
I also want to give a special

292
00:10:35.990 –> 00:10:37.590
Speaker:
thanks to my son, Griffin Doig,

293
00:10:37.590 –> 00:10:38.830
Speaker:
who provided me with my

294
00:10:38.830 –> 00:10:40.029
Speaker:
transition music for this

295
00:10:40.029 –> 00:10:40.629
Speaker:
episode.

296
00:10:40.629 –> 00:10:45.669
Speaker:
He created the music as a
Father’s Day gift for me this

297
00:10:45.669 –> 00:10:49.309
Speaker:
year, so I told him I was going
to use that, and I did, and it

298
00:10:49.309 –> 00:10:51.190
Speaker:
turned out pretty well, I think.

299
00:10:51.190 –> 00:10:54.190
Speaker:
And with that, we’re going to
wrap up tonight’s show again.

300
00:10:54.190 –> 00:10:55.470
Speaker:
Thank you for joining me.

301
00:10:55.470 –> 00:10:57.870
Speaker:
And until next time, take care.

Garvin lake unusual creature(s): Thought is possibly two very large snapping turtles mating or boarding one another. The duck like things you saw possibly were their heads extending high. Other than that the only other thing I can think of would be an old story of a pike which had the claws of an eagle who attempted to grab it lodged near its head because the eagle was unsuccessful and drowned. That would a stretch. I think.

Interesting theories. I believe it may have been a turtle or turtles with a branch somehow connected, or possibly some other animal that had gotten itself tangled in the weeds. It was certainly very odd!
